People think cheating is alright because in this day and time, we feel that it's all about "me". It doesn't matter how it might hurt someone else, it's all about what feels good to me at the time. We have become a "what feels good right now" type of people and feel that we can deal with the consequences later or just ignore them.

Some people definitely do not think that cheating is all right.

People who do cheat don't place any value on being trusted by others. Somehow they can still manage to get upset if you don't trust them.

Well, I do see the point why some students cheat... It is a kind of a survival instinct. To get through the school years you use all the possible means.

I am not saying I approve of it, but at least I understand the need.

Our opinion about negative phenomena depends on the quality of our upbringing, I guess.
