At the end of the year I have experienced by parents of a student in 10th class that went down in grades in 3 subjects (from 3 to 2 in each of the subjects) took up the issue with teachers. It was agreed to have a meeting. Teachers felt that they were personally attacked. When parents do not listen about the student's results, would not look at the sample survey results, tests and exams, missing assignments, etc.
A week earlier (in May) the student delivered a thesis which was to be submitted in January. This proved to be a copy of the task another student in the class had delivered earlier. Plagiarism was granted on the spot, but the parents cared little about the fact ...
Is it really so important for parents what kind of grades your children leave school with? Are they not worried about the lack of knowledge their off-springs go into the big life with?
